Tour Description

We leave from the bikecenter at 09:30 am and drive south. Right after Corralejo we leave the main road and drive on a dirt track paralell to the road to Tamaragua, a new development outside Corralejo. On our ride through the so called 'Malpais', the bad land, we pass by a chain of five volcanoes, 40 000 years old. Shortly after Tamaragua we turn towards Lajares, from here we have a great view over the whole chain of volcanoes.

After about one kilometer we turn onto a dirt track heading up to Villaverde, the only climb worth mentioning lies ahead of us. From the top we overview the East-, North- and West Coast before we drive the last kilometer to the cave entrance. There we visit the Info Center and take the guided Tour through the cave. We spend about one hour at the cave, there you can also have a cup of coffee or tea or an ice cream before we head back the same way to Corralejo.
